Training Pathways
You must submit this FORM to get added to the course tracking system as well as to receive a copy of the training pathways required for your role.
Please note that all roles are required to complete the Core Curriculum listed below. If you are funded for more than one role, you must complete all role-specific trainings for the position you hold. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like assistance in navigating your training pathway, please contact one of our Program Coordinators.

The following courses may be taken either prior to or after submitting a request for your counselor ID, so long as they are completed within 6-months of hire:

Once you have completed the above HIV Tester training pathway, please email njtacd@jefferson.edu to submit a request for your Counselor ID. Our coordinators review submissions weekly and will forward the information to NJ DOH.

HIV Services
Learning Objectives include*:
Define HIV and AIDS
Define primordial, primary, secondary, and tertiary HIV prevention
Describe the impact of social determinants of health barriers on HIV transmission and outcomes
